$= \frac{\sqrt{2} + \sqrt{7} + \sqrt{2} - \sqrt{7}}{(\sqrt{2} - \sqrt{7}) (\sqrt{2} + \sqrt{7})}$

$= \frac{2 \sqrt{2}}{{(\sqrt{2})}^{2} - {(\sqrt{7})}^{2}}$

$= \frac{2 \sqrt{2}}{2 - 7}$

$= - \frac{2 \sqrt{2}}{5}$
