$= \frac{2 \pm \sqrt{4 + 140}}{2}$

$= \frac{2 \pm \sqrt{144}}{2}$

$= \frac{2 \pm 12}{2}$

$x_{1} = \frac{2 + 12}{2}$

$x_{1} = \frac{14}{2}$

$x_{1} = 7$

$x_{2} = \frac{2 - 12}{2}$

$x_{2} = \frac{- 10}{2}$

$x_{2} = - 5$
